The short version: your profile and resume stay in your browser, nothing is sold or shared, and no application is ever submitted without you. The long version is below.

Fast Apply is a browser extension that fills in job application forms on your behalf, together with the website at fastapply.it. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use either. It applies to the extension, the website and any account you create with us. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean the operator of Fast Apply, and "you" means the person using it.
Fast Apply does one thing: it fills in job application forms that you open, using details you have saved, and drafts answers to written questions on those forms. Every permission it asks for exists to serve that purpose, and it is not used for anything else.
The information you set up in Fast Apply is stored locally in your browser's extension storage, on the computer you are using. That includes:
This profile is not uploaded to us as a whole and we do not hold a copy of your resume on our servers. Demographic and diversity answers, where you have chosen to save them, are filled directly from your device and are never transmitted for processing.
Written questions such as "why do you want to work here" cannot be answered from a stored value, so drafting them requires processing. When you press fill on an application that contains such a question:
If you create an account or buy a paid plan we process your email address, your plan and credit balance, and a record of your payments. Card details are handled entirely by our payment provider and never reach our servers. We use this information to run your account, take payment, prevent abuse and answer support requests.

Our use of information received from browser APIs follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically: data is used only to provide and improve the single purpose described above; it is not transferred to third parties except to service providers acting on our instructions, or where required by law, or in connection with a merger or acquisition where this policy continues to apply; it is not used or transferred for advertising, credit or lending decisions; and it is not read by any person except where you have given permission for a specific support issue, where it is necessary for security purposes, or where the law requires it.
The website uses no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. Where we measure usage, it is aggregate and cannot be tied back to an individual application or job seeker. The extension itself contains no advertising or tracking software.
Removing the extension deletes the profile and resume stored in your browser. To delete anything held against your account, write to privacy@fastapply.it from the address on the account and we will action it within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. Residents of the EEA and the UK have these rights under the GDPR. Residents of California have rights under the CCPA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. To exercise any right, write to privacy@fastapply.it. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Fast Apply is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the service, write to us and we will delete the data.
Data in transit is encrypted. Local storage is protected by the isolation your browser applies to extension data. No system is perfect, so if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top, and for material changes we will notify you in the extension or by email before the change takes effect.
